Before commissioning

Commission Terms

These terms explain the request, approval, deposit and custom-build process for commissions from BP-ZE MODEL STUDIO LLC.

Last updated: September 24, 2026

1. Request and studio approval

Submitting the website form is a request for BP-ZE to review a possible commission. It is not an acceptance, purchase or guarantee that BP-ZE can build the project. No payment is due when the request is submitted. BP-ZE may accept, decline or ask for more information based on donor-model availability, technical scope, schedule and reference quality.

2. Planning estimates

Website prices and completion windows are planning estimates. BP-ZE confirms the final scope, price and expected schedule after reviewing the vehicle and requested details. Shipping, applicable tax and work added after approval may be separate. No added work will be charged without customer approval.

3. Approval and $30 deposit

If BP-ZE accepts the commission, the customer receives a secure Stripe Checkout link for a $30 project deposit. The deposit is credited toward the agreed project price. Paying it reserves the project and authorizes BP-ZE to begin sourcing the donor model, materials or custom parts.

4. Deposit cancellation and refunds

A customer may cancel and request the deposit back before BP-ZE purchases project-specific materials or begins custom work. After sourcing or custom work begins, the deposit may be retained to cover time and nonrecoverable project costs, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If BP-ZE cancels an accepted project or cannot complete it, BP-ZE will refund any unused deposit amount.

5. Custom-build expectations

Every replica is hand-built from an available donor model, printed component or custom-fabricated part. Reasonable differences in color, fit, surface finish, graphics and small details are part of custom miniature work. BP-ZE will aim to reproduce the agreed defining features of the customer's car, but a miniature is not guaranteed to be an exact mechanical reproduction.

6. Customer information and permissions

The customer confirms that submitted details are accurate and that they have permission to provide the photos, logos, license-plate designs and other reference material needed for the commission. Customer reference material is used under the Privacy Notice. Public use of customer reference photos or an owner story requires separate permission.

7. Changes during the build

Changes requested after approval may affect cost and timing. BP-ZE will identify material changes before performing added paid work. If an agreed feature becomes technically impractical, BP-ZE will discuss a reasonable alternative with the customer.

8. Final balance and delivery

The remaining approved balance and any confirmed shipping charge are due before shipment unless BP-ZE agrees otherwise in writing. Current website shipping is limited to the 48 contiguous United States. Completion and delivery dates are estimates and may shift because of custom fabrication, materials, weather or carrier delays.

9. Shipping issues

Customers should inspect the package promptly and contact BP-ZE with photos if a model arrives damaged or materially differs from the agreed commission. BP-ZE will reasonably assist with a repair, replacement component or shipping claim based on the circumstances.

10. Age and authority

The person approving and paying for a commission must be at least 18 years old and authorized to use the selected payment method. A parent or legal guardian must handle the commission for a customer under 18.

11. Project-specific confirmation

The written approval, invoice or project confirmation may contain details specific to a commission. If those written details conflict with these general terms, the project-specific written terms control for that commission. These terms are governed by applicable Michigan law.
